Ministries

  • At Auburn, we aim to create an active, vibrant faith community where people's physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual needs are being met. We have a number of ministries that help to form connections between people and people, and between people and God. If any of the ministries below sound like they might meet a need in your life, feel free to click the link for more information and to contact the people responsible for the programs.

    Life Groups

Life groups are the core of our ministry life at Auburn, and a catalyst for spiritual community. Meeting weekly in locations throughout the city, Life Groups are places of discussion, prayer, and worship. Don't just check one out - commit to one!

    Youth and Family Ministries

Recognizing that for many people, family life is the core place for spiritual and emotional growth, we at Auburn seek to engage children and parents of all ages. If you have any kids in any of the age ranges mentioned, check out the ministry pages and get involved!

Superchurch on Sunday mornings is a great place for kids to energize and begin their faith journey.

Free Fall, our Junior High program that takes place on Wednesday nights, is a place for pre-teens to begin growing in independence as their faith becomes more mature.

Climb, our Senior High program that takes places on Fridays, is a place for teenagers to ask tough life questions and encounter God through Bible study and community worship and prayer.

    Adult Ministries

The bulk of a person's life is spent in that state of in-betweenness we call adulthood. No longer young but not yet old, it is often difficult to feel emotionally and spiritually engaged during the adult years. For this reason, we not only offer our Life Groups, which provide opportunities for adults to regularly get together in spiritual community, but we also offer men- and women-specific ministries that cater to the needs of adults in the 21st century.

Women in the Word, our long-running weekly women's study, includes free childcare and an opportunity to socialize and connect with other women. Currently, they are studying The Shelter of God's Promises.

Man Up!, our men's ministry, is currently in the process of arranging periodic breakfasts, conferences, and fellowship events in order to provide teaching and activities that cater to the unique challenges of contemporary manhood.
